- Removed engine cover and found vent hose chewed through. Lots of evidence of rodents. Cut vent hose where it was chewed through and re-plugged. Recommend clean engine bay as rodent smells attract more rodents. Recommend implement a plan to keep rodents out as the wiring harnesses will be the next thing that the rodents will eat

2006 Ford Ranger
- 10 Point Vehicle Inspection Check under hood fluids, drive belt, operation of exterior lamps and condition of tires
- Removed drums and installed a new set from Carquest. Wheel vibration is still there. Removed drums and installed a set from O'rillys and vibration in gone now.
- Road tested and confirmed vibration from back end. Raised vehicle and used engine to bring speed up to 70 mph and can see the left rear wheel starting to shake a lot. Suspect axle bearing has failed. Will have to disassemble to inspect further. Bearings are in good shape. But noticed that brake drums have a lot of weight on them for balancing. Suggest try a different set of drums
2016 Kia Sorento
- 10 Point Vehicle Inspection Check under hood fluids, drive belt, operation of exterior lamps and condition of tires
- Performed GDI upper intake service
- Removed plugs and installed new ones. Cleared codes and road tested. Cones did not return
- Scanned ECM and found 2 stored history codes. P0303 – Cyl#3 misfire and P0269 – Cyl#3 contribution/balace. Both are history codes and not currently active. Removed and inspected a couple of spark plugs for wear. Engine has iridium plugs. Maintenance schedule says that spark plugs are due at 80,000 miles. Recommend tune-up service with BG GDI fuel induction service. Problem could also be with #3 ignition coil, but it is currently working without failure. Recommend moving cyl#3 coil to one of the front bank cylinders while replacing spark plugs, since #3 requires removal of the intake to access. This way if misfire comes back due to a bad coil after tune-up service, that coil will be easily accessible.

Remove all four wheels, inspect and measure brake pads/shoes, inspect and check runout on rotors/drums, inspect master cylinder, brake lines, hoses, calipers and wheel cylinders. Also note any pulsation experienced on test drive, etc. Front and rear pads 3mm – recommend replace. Front rotors warped causing pulsation and require replacement. Rear rotors can be resurfaced on brake lathe
- Removed front pads and rotors. Cleaned and lubricated caliper slide pins and hardware. Installed new rotors and pads.
- Removed rear pads and rotors. Cleaned and lubricated caliper slide pins and hardware. Installed resurfaced rotors and new pads
- Removed rotors and resurfaced on lathe. Removed about 0.2mm from each side to get acceptable finish
2006 Ford Ranger
- LOF service completed
- Transmission fluid dirty – suggest flush Brake fluid smells rotten – recommend flush Coolant reservoir was empty – topped to "cold full" Battery tested bad but also has a lot of corrosion on terminals – recommend battery cleaning service and retest Drive belt has many small cracks Rear differential fluid is low and can see that it has a leak – recommend service fluid and reseal. Third brake light inoperative Left license plate light inoperative – replaced Set tires to 30PSI Engine does have an oil leak at oil pan gasket and also possibly rear main seal
2012 Subaru Impreza
- Found passenger headlight bulb burnt out. Replaced and everything works. Also found reverse lights inoperative. Found fuse blown – replaced
- HEADLAMP BULB – Remove & Replace – 2.0L Eng Low Beam,One Side
- Oil level light stayed on after oil change
- Oil light is on in dash display. Checked level and found none on stick
